API and GPS Corporation created the joint venture.
We are focused on the conversion of forest and agricultural waste residues to a liquid renewable oil to generate renewable heat and power. We do this through the process, or rapid thermal processing, which has been in commercial operation for more than 25 years.
The process produces a clean burning, minimal sulfur content bio-fuel that can be used for the generation of renewable heat and power. It is a cost-effective solution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions up to 90% compared to petroleum-based fuels.
The process is scalable to meet the needs of diverse applications. It has a relatively compact footprint due to its modular construction, and is feedstock-flexible in that can be designed to process a wide variety of lignocellulosic feedstocks.
